Thanksgiving Weekend - OPEN
The Carley Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy is conducting classes at the usual time on Friday evening (6:15 pm) and Saturday afternoon (1-3pm). The remainder of the facility is closed, but we will open the building for our students only 15 minutes before class time.

The Carley Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy moved its San Francisco dojo last year. We are now located in the center of the Soma (South of Market) district, in the HRK Martial Arts Center, at

371 Fifth Street
(between Folsom and Harrison Streets), near the Powell St. BART Station, Hallidie Plaza, and the cable car turn-around at the foot of Powell Street.  The Academy also offers instruction at satellite teaching locations in other Northern California cities.


The Carley Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy teaches the complete repertoire of Gracie techniques, for Men as well as Ladies, including



Escapes and stand-up defenses	Groundfighting
Street self-defense	Chokes and submission holds
Take-downs and throws	Weapons defense, and much more!

There are three large mats, dressing rooms and showers at the HRK Martial Arts Center.  Class size is limited to 10-12 students per group, so there is plenty of mat space for every student and lots of personal attention from the instructor.   You can visit us in the dojo during any the scheduled training sessions.
